Dear Brother / Sister

OFFICIAL HEALTH ADVICE FOR THE PUBLIC ISSUED BY PUBLIC HEALTH ENGLAND – 30 MARCH 2020

Public Health England (PHE) published updated guidance for the public on 30 March 2020. In the main there hasn’t been significant change, however some of the guidance is more defined. Members may wish to review the guidance to ensure that you are aware of the current advice. This circular does not replicate or paraphrase the guidance but draws members’ attention to the fact that it has been issued. This circular provides information on how to access all advice targeted at the public by PHE including the update advice issued on 30 March and the continuing advice issued prior to that date.

Whilst the approaches by governments to certain aspects of how they are responding to Covid-19 varies slightly, the advice provided to the public differs in style rather than content.

The parent page for the PHE guidance for the public can be found here:

https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/coronavirus-covid-19-list-of-guidance#guidance-for-the-public

That page contains links to a suite of more specific guidance on the following matters which members may wish to review:
