Members should be treated equally and their individual, as well as collective needs and problems, responded to positively and objectively. It is part of a Safety Representatives job to be sensitive to these needs and help promote fairness and equality at work, particularly in relation to health and safety regardless of factors such as race, class, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, disability etc.
