April/May Firefighter has a double feature on the upcoming fight against the government’s attack on firefighters and their Grey Book, and lays out the reasons why firefighters must speak up and make their voice heard to protect ‘our say in our service’ and hard won terms and conditions. “A reckless disregard for human life and safety” by companies responsible for the cladding on Grenfell Tower was highlighted in a second feature, about Module 2 of the Grenfell inquiry, with a third feature calling out to all firefighters to sign up to the Firefighters Cancer and Disease registry.
