Membership Consultation

Conference recognises the current controversy, since 26th May 2004, over adequate time for consultation to take place with members regarding Conditions of Service and the likelihood that such consultation may be required to take place in the immediate future. Conference therefore demands that, where the Employers propose changes to Conditions of Service, full consultation with the membership will take place. Sufficient time will be given by the Executive Council to allow this consultation to take place. The minimum consultation period will be 14 days.
