The union’s ballot for strike action ends on 30 January. Votes not received by 2pm on 30 January will not be counted.
Due to the government’s restrictive anti-union laws this is a postal ballot only.
Ballot papers have been sent out by post to all eligible FBU members (serving Grey Book members or members of North West Fire Control). You should have received one by now.
If you are an eligible member and you haven’t received a ballot paper or if you are unable to locate your original ballot paper and therefore have not yet voted, please click here to request a ballot paper or a replacement ballot paper.
Requests must be received by 17 January, and due to postage times it is vital that requests are submitted as soon as possible.
If a request for a new ballot has already been made to membership services please note that delivery of the ballot paper may be delayed due to Royal Mail backlog.
Only one vote per eligible member will be counted.
This is our opportunity to change over a decade of derisory pay and set the course for a brighter future for our fire and rescue service.
We need every member to vote and to vote YES.
