Following worrying reports from members of the public, we confirm that Siren Publications Ltd has nothing to do with the Fire Brigades Union and that we have no relationship with them.
We have been advised of individuals being contacted and asked for varying amounts of money to place advertisements, linking themselves to the Fire Brigades Union via the union’s previous women members’ magazine, Siren, which was last published in 2016.
The Fire Brigades Union does not accept advertising as part of its policy.
We ask that you do NOT pay money to any individual claiming to advertise on behalf of the FBU and report any incidents of this to the police.
