On Saturday 12 May 2018, thousands of people will march through London to demand a new deal for working people. FBU members will be among them.
Real wages for workers across the UK are still lower than before the financial crash in 2018 and hardworking public servants have not received a proper pay rise in eight years.
The TUC organised demonstration is calling for an alternative. For properly funded public services and a voice for all workers in every workplace.
The FBU is urging as many of its members to join the march as possible. On the day the march will form between Hungerford Bridge and Blackfriars Bridge from 11am and the FBU will be in the purple zone. It will move off at 12pm and march to Hyde Park. The rally in Hyde Park will be finishing at around 4pm.
