In a video update Matt Wrack, FBU general secretary, has vowed that the union will continue its fight for pension justice after an employment tribunal concluded the transitional arrangements for the 2015 Firefighters' Pension Scheme did not discriminate on the grounds of age, sex or race.
The FBU will now consider the reasons for the decision with their legal team in the near future, and will then make a decision whether or not to appeal.
