Around 200 FBU activists from across the UK took to Westminster on 29 November 2016 to demand that cuts to the fire service stop and the safety of firefighters is prioritised.
The lobby comes after the union published a 90-page report into the death of firefighter Stephen Hunt who was killed whilst attending a fire in Manchester city centre in 2013. The report identified a number of key lessons that need to be learned and implemented.
