11am 26 April 2016 - Old Palace Yard, Westminster, SW1A.

Firefighters protesting around the third and final reading of the Police and Crime Bill as it goes through the House of Commons, will be at Old Palace Yard tomorrow morning at 11am prior to lobbying their MPs at Westminster.

The Police and Crime Bill will allow police and crime commissioners (PCCs) to take over control of fire and rescue services in England. The plans, which will be discussed by MPs tomorrow in the House of Commons, represent a key stage of the legislative process and the last opportunity for MPs to introduce and vote upon further amendments before it goes to the House of Lords.
