The Fire Brigades Union has launched its official Facebook page and are encouraging all members’ and supporters to ‘like’ and ‘share’ it.

The page, which will be used to publicise the union’s campaigns and initiatives, is available here.

Dave Green, FBU national officer, said: “Social media is an important aspect of our campaigning and communications strategy. It allows us to reach a broad new audience. I hope members will login and like.”

The FBU has also published its social media guidelines on how to engage with the union on social media and what to expect.
