Matt Wrack, FBU general secretary, will join thousands of demonstrators this Saturday on the Time to act on climate march taking place in London.

Last year over 40,000 people marched in London and organises are expecting even more this time around. The march comes as crucial climate talks are expected to take place in Paris this December.

Other speakers on the day include MPs John McDonnell and Caroline Lucas, PCS assistant general secretary Chris Baugh, comedian and actress Francesca Martinez as well as video messages from Russell Brand and Naomi Klein.

The FBU supports reform of the energy market in order to tackle climate change publishing the report It’s time to take over the big energy firms last year.
