Firefighters in England continue their strike action over the government’s plans to lay regulations for an unfair, unaffordable and unsustainable pension scheme.
Firefighters walked out at 18:00 on Friday 31 October and will not return to work until 18:00 Tuesday 4 November.
Matt Wrack, FBU general secretary, said: ““Firefighters have shown magnificent solidarity as the four day strike continues.
“Firefighters up and down England have been given an amazing reception by the public who understand why they are striking.
“The resolution of this dispute is firmly in the hands of the government.”
