Firefighters will be able to participate in a raft of new membership benefits that the FBU has negotiated.
Amongst the offers are a health cash plan that allows you to manage your everyday healthcare and well being needs, an offer to get cashback, discount and deals on your online shopping and a union prepaid plus card that earns you between 2.5% and 6% cashback.
This is on top of the existing benefits for members which includes exclusive deals on home, travel, car, and pet insurance.
John McGhee, FBU national officer, said: “In tough economic times every penny counts.
“These benefits have been negotiated to give all FBU members a good deal and to help out with the cost of living.
“The ability to bargain collectively allows us to get the best deal for members.”
