We’re campaigning hard on many issues at present, which includes asking for politicians to help us save firefighter pensions and support changes to the way we respond to flooding.
With the cuts affecting fire and rescue services across the country showing no sign of abating, we’re likely to be asking for support in parliament for a while yet.
As well as using our online systems to lobby your MP, we’re keen to find firefighters and supporters who are active on twitter to contact their MP about these issues. We hope hearing publicly from their constituents will help us find more support — and highlight those who are unwilling to lend a hand.
