Manchester firefighter Stephen Hunt tragically died on 13 July this year.
His full ceremonial Fire Service funeral will take place at 11am on Tuesday 3 September at Bury Parish Church.
Due to the limited space, only invited guests will be allowed into the church itself. However, other mourners can gather in an area outside where the service will be broadcast via loud speakers outside.
The service will be followed by a private family committal at East Lancashire Crematorium, after which Stephen’s family have invited as many colleagues as possible to join them at Castle Armoury opposite the church.
We have been advised that it is family flowers only for the funeral.
