CONFERENCE: 13, 14 & 15 MAY 2026 – DELEGATION NUMBERS
Delegation numbers are derived from Rule C2 (2), that is one delegate per 500 members or part thereof, with a minimum of two delegates per brigade (according to the membership of the brigade as in June 2025). National sectional committees are entitled to send two delegates per section.
Conference therefore will see a total of 129 delegates. All brigades/sections will be entitled to send two delegates, except the following:
- London – 10 delegates
- Scotland – 9 delegates
- Northern Ireland – 4 delegates
- Greater Manchester – 3 delegates
- West Midlands – 3 delegates
South Wales – 3 delegates
The Executive Council has agreed an additional eleven Conference 2026 attendees from each of the equality sections. These attendees are not voting delegates, but these attendees will be seated with delegates and will be able to take part in debate from the floor of Conference.
Regional and sectional official’s attendance will be the subject of a further circular.
