FBU CONFERENCE MAY 2025 – EXECUTIVE COUNCIL POLICY STATEMENTS, PROPOSED
ALTERATION TO PROPSED RULE CHANGE,
Please find enclosed the following Executive Council Policy Statements to Conference 2025 with
proposed amendments submitted by Brigade/Sectional committees.
1. Fund our Fire and Rescue Service
2. Opposing the Threat of the Far Right
3. A Safety-First Fire Brigades Union
4. Unity and Strength in the Workplace – Prioritising our Future Together
Also enclosed is a proposed alteration to a proposed Rule change. A circular with all the proposed Rule
changes has been issued previously. As only one amendment to a proposed Rule change was received
it has been issued separately, as attached.
Proposed alterations to the Standing Orders of Conference have received no proposed amendments
and having been issued previously will not be reissued.
