FBU calls for special meeting of the National Joint Council

The Executive Council met today to discuss developments in our campaign for fair pay.  This includes the proposals on pay from the London Fire Brigade (see circular 2023HOC028MW).

The Executive Council has written to the Employers’ side of the NJC (see attached), seeking an urgent meeting of the NJC within 10 days of the close of our ballot.  We have committed to calling no strike action until the deadline set by the union of a meeting of the NJC (ie by 9 February 2023).
