Employers’ Pay Proposal: Executive Council Assessment and Members’ Consultation
Following the members’ consultation announced on 4 June 2021 (2021HOC0291MW), the Executive Council met today (28 June) to discuss the 1.5% pay proposal made at the National Joint Council (NJC) by the fire service employers.
The Executive Council has now considered the results of this consultation and agreed that the employers’ proposal of a 1.5% increase should be implemented. I have today written to the employers to inform them of this. The NJC circulars with the new rates of pay and CPD payments are provided with this circular.
