TRIPARTITE STATEMENT 14: EXTENSION TO THE TRIPARTITE AGREEMENT – ALL MEASURES TO BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN 19 NOVEMBER 2020
This circular brings members’ attention to a Tripartite statement issued today. The Tripartite Group has agreed to extend the operation of the agreement and all of the activities until no later than 19 November 2020 pending completion of the work in respect of ensuring that local risk assessments are consistent with the risk assessments agreed by the Tripartite Group. The details of that work are detailed in the Tripartite Statement.
Subject to the successful completion of the work and satisfactory terms of renewal, which are in general consistent with previous such arrangements, the Tripartite Group will agree a further renewal until 31 March 2021. The outcome of the work at fire and rescue service level and discussions in respect of a longer renewal agreement will be reported to the Executive Council in the first instance, and then to members on or before 19 November 2020.
