BUILDING REGULATIONS (ENGLAND) - TWO NEW PUBLICATIONS

This circular brings attention to two new publications in respect of the Building Regulations (England). 

The first is a newly-updated Manual to the Building Regulations - A code of practice for use in England published today. The document has been updated in accordance with recommendations of ‘the Hackitt review’. It replaces all previous versions. It can be found on the Westminster government’s website, which at time of writing is located here:

The second is a single volume pdf document bringing together all current Approved Documents that derive from/relate to the Building Regulations 2010. It applies in England and also applies to building work undertaken on excepted energy buildings in Wales. It can be found on the Westminster government’s website, which at time of writing is located here:

Both documents are lengthy and will be of interest to all members, but especially those of you who are engaged with fire safety audit and inspection.
