Newly-agreed supplement to the tri-partite national agreement regarding new areas of work for the duration of the Covid-19 health crisis
As a key part of putting in place suitable fire and rescue service arrangements to meet the demands of the current health crisis there has been a further series of meetings between the FBU, NFCC and National Employers. These have resulted in the document agreed today (3 April 2020) which is attached to this circular.
The document supplements the appended national agreement which was agreed on 27 March 2020 which is was circulated to all members via head office circular 2020HOC0190MW “Joint statement between FBU, National Employers, and NFCC – arrangements in response to coronavirus”.
This new document provides detailed information on how the parties will process and consider new activities which fire and rescue services and others have identified as potential areas of work, for the duration of the health crisis, to be added to the three already-agreed new areas.
