FOR INFORMATION: LETTER DATED 28 MARCH 2020 TO ALL KEY HEALTH BODIES CO-SIGNED BY NHS, PHE AND ACADEMY OF MEDICAL COLLEGES - PPE RE COVID-19

Members may find of interest, a letter co-signed by Public Health England (PHE), the NHS and the Academy of Medical Colleges to all key health providers dated 28 March 2020. The letter emphasises the importance of the provision of fit-for-purpose PPE.

Though written with the provision of PPE for health workers in mind, there is a direct read-across for other workers, including firefighters, whose health and safety is no less important than that of our brothers and sisters working in ambulance services and as healthcare professionals.
