President election position

Dear Brother / Sister

Following Brother Ian Murray’s success in the above election, there will be a short handover period, and Brother Murray will take up his new position in January 2018.

This union has elected one of the best officials I have ever met, and someone who is also a fair and decent human being.  I have no doubt that our great union will benefit as a result of this election, and that Ian will lead by example.

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a very happy and safe festive period.
