DEATH OF MEMBER: BROTHER MARK HILDER
It is with much sadness and regret that I am informing you of the tragic and sudden death of our member Brother Mark Hilder, who passed away on 25 August 2017.
Mark was a highly regarded Firefighter in London Fire Brigade and served on Blue watch at Beckenham Fire Station. He leaves behind a fiancée Rachel, and a three-year old daughter Layla.
Everyone in the FBU sends our full solidarity and support at this very sad time, and local Fire Brigades Union officials are working with LFB to offer support to Mark's family, friends and colleagues.
Further details in relation to funeral arrangements will be available from local officials once this information becomes available.
