BROTHER LEE VINE

It is with great regret that I have to inform you that our member, Brother Lee Vine passed away at home in the early hours of Christmas morning.

Lee aged 45, was stationed at Basildon Fire Station, Essex and joined the Fire Service in January 2000.

Lee’s passing leaves behind a wife, a daughter age 17 and son age 12 and we have already taken steps to ensure that advice and assistance are provided to them as necessary. 

Lee will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, but right now his passing has left many in shock and deep sadness.  I know that members will join me in sending condolences to Lee’s family, friends and colleagues at such a tragic time. 

Lee’s funeral is taking place on 27 January at 2.00 pm at Bentley Crematorium, Ongar Road, Pilgrims Hatch, Brentwood, Essex CM15 9RZ.

Full undress uniform to be worn if issued.

The service will be followed by a small gathering afterwards at Basildon Fire Station, to celebrate Lee’s memory.
