Dear Brother/Sister

It is with deepest regret that I have to inform you of the death of our member, Brother Tim Lockett, who tragically passed away on the evening of Saturday 11 July. Tim joined Surrey Fire & Rescue Service in 1999 and was stationed at Guildford Fire Station, he was also West Area Rep for Surrey FBU.

Tim's passing leaves behind sons Ben aged 16 and Joe aged 13. Our thoughts and support are with all of Tim's loved ones during this tragic time.  Tim will be remembered fondly by all who knew him but right now his passing has left many in shock and deep sadness.

We have already taken steps to ensure that advice and assistance is provided to Tim's family as necessary.

I know that members will join me in sending condolences to Tim's family, friends and colleagues at such a terrible time.

Tim's funeral will take place at midday on Tuesday 28 July at Clandon Wood Natural Burial Reserve, Epsom Road, West Clandon, Surrey, GU4 7TT.

Parking will be at Clandon House as the burial site is only large enough to accommodate family members. Clandon House, West Clandon, Guildford, Surrey, GU4 7RQ.

Please wear full undress uniform where possible.

Best wishes.

Yours fraternally

Matt Wrack
General Secretary
