On 2nd April head office circular (2015HOC0240MW) was issued to all members.
This circular reiterated that although the 2015 scheme has been imposed our pension campaign continues.
A section of this circular focused on the ongoing political work and in particular a letter from the Shadow Fire Minister Lyn Brown to the FBU General Secretary.
The letter also included a copy of a letter from the Shadow Fire Minister to the DCLG Fire Minister detailing exactly why the guarantee that was given to Parliament on 15 December 2014 is worthless.
