On 3 March the DCLG Fire Minister, Penny Mordaunt wrote to all Coalition MPs with a 'recap' on what the Government has done in relation to protection and reassurance concerns raised by firefighters as the 2015 pension scheme is set to be introduced.
This letter contained a number of inaccuracies and was extremely misleading.
The FBU has written to all MPs in response to this letter, correcting these inaccuracies. A copy of the letter is attached.
