Dear Brother/Sister

I am sure all FBU officials will have been shocked and saddened by the news of the death earlier this week of Brother Bob Crow, General Secretary of the RMT.  We have sent messages of condolences to Bob's family and I have spoken to various officials of the RMT to express our sadness and sympathy.  Yesterday I met the RMT President and delivered the attached letter on behalf of the FBU.

I am aware that there is a great deal of interest in Bob's funeral or any other arrangements for a commemorative event.  As soon as any such information is available it will be circulated.

Our union has lost a good friend, ally and comrade.

Best wishes.

Yours fraternally

Matt Wrack,

General secretary
