It is with great regret that I have to inform you that our member, Brother Clifford Cox died at Staines Fire Station on the evening of Saturday 15 February. Clifford was a member of the union serving 25 years in Surrey Fire & Rescue Service. We have already taken steps to ensure that advice and assistance is provided to Clifford's family as necessary.
Further details, including details of funeral arrangements as appropriate, will be circulated in due course.
I know that members will join me in sending condolences to Clifford's family, friends and colleagues at such a terrible time.
