Dear Brother/Sister
The funeral of Bro. Nial Hamilton who died during an incident in Lurgan on the night of Monday 10 February 2014 will take place on Thursday 13 February 2014 at 14:00 hrs. Nial's family has requested that Nial be buried with full service honours and the funeral service will be held at St. Michael's Parish Church, Trory, Kesh Road, Enniskillen.
Those wishing to attend the funeral service should assemble at St. Angelo Airport entrance by no later than 12:45 hrs on Thursday 13 February 2014 where they will be met by NIFRS marshals who will arrange parking and transport to the funeral service.
In order to ensure an organised, coordinated and dignified representation from NIFRS personnel attending in uniform, to form a guard of honour, it is essential that those wishing to represent NIFRS attend a briefing at St. Angelo Airport at 12:45 hrs where the NIFRS Lead Marshal will provide details of allocated positions.
Dress Code
Members wishing to represent NIFRS should attend St. Angelo Airport by 12:45 hrs in full undress uniform including caps with medal ribbons only.
Transport
There will be dedicated NIFRS transport to and from St. Angelo Airport before and after the funeral as parking at the Church is extremely limited and family parking and the cortege with NIFRS appliance require unimpeded access to the Church.
Church Service
NIFRS ushers will be at the Church to assist the family with the funeral service. NIFRS members should follow the direction of the ushers to enable them to support the family at this difficult time.
We have been advised that it is family flowers only for the funeral.
