We have received correspondence from Brandon Lewis regarding discussions on pensions. Please find attached his letter of 18 December and our response of 20 December.
I can confirm that the Union remains available for talks at any time, as always. Talks have continued with other Fire Ministers (in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) and with the Fire Service Employers. Unfortunately talks have not taken place on our pensions' dispute with the CLG Minister since 17 October.
We shall continue to seek the discussions necessary.
