Dear Brother/Sister
As part of the FBU campaign to defend our Service from cuts and privatisation we have been meeting and discussing with other campaigning organisations. The austerity measures of the government are prompting opposition across a range of issues and this is uniting hundreds of thousands of people through various local and national campaigns.
We have discussed various Fire and Rescue Service issues with the campaigning group 38 Degrees. This is a very helpful initiative by 38 Degrees in support of our Service and the work our members undertake. It demonstrates the support we can build at local and national level.
