As reported in All Members Circular 2015HOC0359MW, the National Joint Council (NJC) is currently discussing various aspects of work undertaken in the Fire Service, some of which are outside the agreed role maps of firefighters and for which there is no contractual obligation on the part of firefighters. Please find attached the latest NJC circular which reports on these discussions. It is important to note that no agreement has been reached on any of the areas identified other than to continue discussions through the NJC.
Further reports on these extremely important discussions will follow through local Brigade Committees.
