At the end of last year, an Employment Appeal Tribunal against age discrimination in the 2015 Firefighters' Pension Scheme was held between 11 - 14 December at which point judgement was reserved.
We have now been informed that the judgement is scheduled to be handed down on the morning of Monday 29 January.
Head Office will be in contact with our legal team prior to then and will liaise with them on the day. We will endeavour to get the result out as soon as possible. We will then work on getting a summary and a ‘what happens next’ circular out as soon as possible.
