Non-grey book local conditions of service

Conference recognises the worrying trend of Brigades employing then moving existing members of staff, onto non-Grey Book terms and conditions of service. This is happening under the guise of streamlining organisations, especially in regards to Officer terms and conditions. Not only are these terms and conditions of service outside of National Joint Council (NJC) collective agreements but they are being implemented without any FBU negotiation at any level. Conference therefore calls upon the Executive Council to raise this issue with the NJC at the earliest opportunity with an aim of eradicating non-NJC terms and conditions from the UK Fire and Rescue Service.
