National recruitment and retention

Conference commends all Fire Brigades Union Officials for the significant effort undertaken to recruit new Members and retain existing Members. 

Conference calls on the Executive Council to produce a range of new media for use on branches and at meetings across the FBU that will further assist in the recruitment of new FBU Members as well as retain the support of existing Members. This media should include detail on all aspects of union membership and promote a clear and consistent message. 

In addition the current membership welcome pack should be reviewed and updated to also promote a professional image and accurate information. This review and update should also be established on an annual basis

All work to be completed within 12 months of Conference 2017.
