Forty year membership recognition

Conference applauds the outstanding contribution made by our Members within fire controls throughout the UK Fire and Rescue Service. Some of our Members within fire controls complete forty years membership and beyond as FBU Members. Under the provision of current pension schemes forty years membership may also be achieved by firefighters and other Members.

In recognition of this milestone Conference instructs the Executive Council to commission and provide to any FBU Member upon completion of forty years’ membership a forty year pin badge similar in design to the twenty five year pin badge already awarded. This forty year pin would not replace the twenty five year recognition already awarded.
