All Different All Equal

This Conference recognises the importance of the need for the All Different All Equal policy of the Fire Brigades Union in defending the dignity of our members whilst at work. However, this Conference feels that the Policy requires reviewing and updating not only to fully support all our members, but also to improve the Policy to make it more ‘user friendly’ for both FBU Representatives and members. Therefore, this Conference instructs the Executive Council to review the Policy. This review must include a cross section of FBU Representatives and Officials, including Regional Secretaries responsible for implementing the policy, Sectional Representatives and Officials. This review must commence immediately following Annual Conference 2011 and report on their recommendations no later than 1st January 2012. This Conference further instructs the Executive Council to submit any required Rule Changes to the next Conference of the FBU.
