Adc Process

Conference notes with concern the continued failings of the ITOP and ADC process, as it does not address the issue of firefighting and firefighter (control capabilities). Conference demands that the Executive Council carries out further research into ITOPs and ADCs, with a view to negotiating a national process of promotion that includes the recognition that firefighting and firefighter (control) capabilities must be included in the ITOP/ADC process. In doing so it should examine the inclusion of any promotion process ensuring that operational capability would make up at least 51% of the process and a pass would be compulsory.
