Public Awareness Campaign

Conference demands that the Executive Council carry out a full survey of the day to day commitment given to the Fire & Rescue Services by members conditioned to the Retained Duty System. This should include the sacrifices made by their families and primary employers. This information to be used to generate a National Public Campaign to highlight the value and contribution made by Retained Firefighters, in order to raise public profile and awareness of this essential element of many UK Fire & Rescue Services.
