Impact Of Working Time Legislation

This Conference demands that the Executive Council set up or delegate a sub committee to assess the potential impact of existing and impending working time legislation on the UK Fire & Rescue Service. That this sub committee produce a report to focus on the potential impact on all duty systems, in particular the Retained Duty System, and that this report be presented to Annual Conference 2010. Should any recommendations or issues be identified that require action prior to this date, the Executive Council will initiate the appropriate actions.
