Unite Against Fascism

This Conference notes the election of 10 more BNP councillors and a BNP London Assembly member in the recent local elections. This Conference condemns the BNP as a racist and fascist organisation and recognises that it poses a direct threat to the interest of trade unionists and working class people. This Conference applauds anti fascist initiatives like the 100,000 strong carnival organised by Love Music Hate Racism which took place in London on the 27th April 2008. This Conference calls on all Regions, Brigades and rank and file members to support campaign activities by anti fascist organisations such as Unite Against Fascism and Love Music Hate Racism. To this end Conference agrees to: (a) Support the national demonstration against the BNP called by Love Music Hate Racism on 21stJune 2008 in London by mobilising members with the national banner to attend; (b) Help fund the demonstration by making a donation of £5000; (c) Circulate anti fascist material to all branches.
