TRAGEDY IN WARWICKSHIRE

I am sure you will wish to know that a large number of letters of condolence have come in, in relation to the tragedy in Warwickshire, including letters from trade unions in the UK and around the world.

I would in particular like to draw your attention to a donation to the Warwickshire Firefighters Families Fund from colleagues in the Prison Officers Association (POA) who have made a donation of £10,000.  On your behalf I have written to Brian Caton, General Secretary thanking him for this very generous donation.
