FBU UNION LEARNING REPRESENTATIVES SEMINAR
WEDNESDAY 27TH JUNE – THURSDAY 28TH JUNE 2007

A number of places still remain for the first FBU National Union Learning Representatives Seminar, which is to take place on Wednesday 27th June – Thursday 28th June 2007 at the Fire Service College, Moreton in Marsh, Gloucestershire.

Applications to attend the Seminar are welcomed from FBU ULR’s and members who are interested in becoming ULR’s and wish to find out more.

Registration will take place on the 27th at 12.00.  A buffet lunch will be provided and the seminar will commence at 13.00 and conclude at approximately 15.00 on the 28th June.

It will give the opportunity to discuss issues such as:

• ULR’s role in the FBU
• Skills for Life
• Workforce Development

Accommodation has been arranged at the Fire Service College for the night of Wednesday 27th June and all meals will be provided.  Reasonable travel costs will be reimbursed in line with the current FBU arrangements.  Where public transport is used receipts must be provided.
